Refunds and Returns
Your Consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law when dealing with Cooee Home (the "Site", "we", "us", or "our")
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right if necessary.
Please keep your proof of purchase—e.g. your receipt.
You may be required to send us images of the damage, defect or fault for our assessment. You also may need to provide further information to support your claim to assist us with our assessment of the goods.
Major Defect
You can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem ('Major Defect').
This is when the item:
• has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
• is unsafe
• is significantly different from the sample or description
• doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
Other Options
Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value.
Defect that is not considered to be a Major Defect
If the problem or defect is not a Major Defect, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.
Assessed as having no defect, out of warranty, etc
If we have assessed the product and have found the product does not to have a defect, or is deemed out of warranty, or you otherwise do not have a remedy for a failure to comply with the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, we will contact you to determine whether you want us to dispose of the product or return the product to you at your expense.
A product will be found by us to not have a defect if in our reasonable opinion a product has become of unacceptable quality following the sale to you due to fair wear and tear, misuse, failure to use in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions, using it in an abnormal way or failure to take reasonable care.
Change of Mind
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind.
Gift Cards
Gift cards and or gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards and or gift vouchers.
Gift cards are valid for 36 months from purchase date. Any unredeemed balance that remains on the Gift Card after the 36 months will be voided and will not be available for use.
